ARTIST PROFILE

Jeff Yauger resides in Apex, NC with his wife and five children.  Seem's that Jeff has always been drawn to clay because as a boy he would often dig clay from creek beds near his family's home and "make stuff" with it. He's literally had his hands in clay from the time he was a young boy.  

Jeff has been engaged in ceramic arts beginning in 1999 where he worked out of a studio called The Potters Wheel in Kew Garden's, NY.  Since then he's worked to improve his skill in glaze making and chemistry, wheel thrown and hand built pottery. He produces both functional and decorative pottery either working on the potter's wheel, building by hand, or casting.
